Tommy L. Fullen

Tommy L. Fullen was born in Ripley, Tenn., and after completing his service in the United States Navy he graduated from the University of Memphis, Magna Cum Laude with a BBA Degree in Accounting. Mr. Fullen then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University Of Memphis School Of Law. Shortly after completing law school, Mr. Fullen became a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Fullen was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1983. After working as an associate in the Law Office of Glassman & Jeter as well as the Law Office of Charlie Perkins, Fullen opened the Law Office of Tommy L. Fullen in May 1989. In 1997, Mr. Fullen purchased the building where the law firm is now located.

Tommy Fullen currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard as State Deputy Judge Advocate General. He served in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as Chief of Legal Assistance in Tallil, Iraq. During this time he provided legal assistance to more than 5,000 soldiers.

Tommy Fullen and his wife, Glenda, have been married for 25 years. He has a step-son Jason Doty, a daughter Mary Fullen Elzie and three grandchildren, Zachary 8 years, Jackson 3 years and Emalee 2 years.

Joseph T. Townsend joined the firm in 2004 when Mr. Fullen served his country in Iraq. The firm offers services in bankruptcy, estate planning, probate and many other areas of the law.

Joseph T. Townsend was born and raised in Memphis, Tenn. He graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Economics/Political Science from the University of Memphis. He then earned his Juris Doctorate Degree also from the University of Memphis. Mr. Townsend attended the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia and earned an LLM in Taxation.

Mr. Townsend was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1986 and the Colorado Bar in 1996. He served as a Judge Advocate in several capacities in the Air Force. Mr. Townsend has also served as an Assistant Federal Defender as well as an Assistant Public Defender in Memphis.

Joseph Townsend has been in private practice since 1996 and joined the Fullen Law Firm in 2004.
